Dear Golfer,

As President of Central Florida Customs Golf, I would like to thank you for allowing CFC Golf to educate you about golf equipment and spending time on our website.

This year, 3 million new golfers will join this great sport, and unfortunately another 3 million people will leave the game all together.  Why?

According to a study by the National Golf Foundation, the biggest among many reasons they left is the frustration of the game being “too difficult”.  People leave the game because they come to believe they will never be “good enough”.  Let’s face it; hitting a horrible shot off the 1st tee, with 24 people watching behind you, thinking ‘wow, we’ve got to follow this person all day……%&%’.  (Sound familiar?)

The average male golfer shoots 97.  Average female golfer shoots 114.  These are the raw facts about the game.  Another fact: Golf is a tough sport, period.  Living here in Florida, I’ve seen professional athletes from other sports look like buffoons on a golf course playing down here in Pro-Ams.

There are two basic problems and two solutions to understand with regard to lowering your score, consistently.

Problem number one; you cannot now or will ever buy your way into being a good golfer.  (Regardless of what you see for sale on the Golf Channel or read in the magazines)  Every Certified Custom Club Builder/Fitter should advise you to take a minimum of 6 lessons from a PGA Professional.  Your swing needs help and PGA Professionals are the ONLY ones that can teach and correct your swing.  Now, with that being said:

Problem number two; “off the rack” clubs from any company are built in a one size fits all philosophy. And guess what, they don’t work, period. Our slogan says it all, it says you didn’t come off an assembly line, why play with equipment that did?  Think about that for a minute.  Feel duped?  I sure did.  The “off the rack” top 5 brand name clubs that I used to play with are built for a man that is 5’8”, weighs 175 pounds,  has a 100+mph swing speed, and drives a ball 260 with no hook or slice.  Is that you?  It’s sure not me.  I’m 5’11”, 220, Swing about 86mph and used to have a horrible slice.  (even if you match the average, they’re still not right in at lease 8 of the 21 aspects of a golf club)

Think of buying a new $1,100.00 Armani suit.  If a salesman pulled one “off the rack”, said “Here you go, don’t worry if it fits, you’ll look fine”…would you give him your credit card?  I wouldn’t.  I’d expect a professional experienced tailor to come measure every aspect of my body, then build or correct the suite to FIT ME.  Then, if it looked right, I’d buy it.  The golf industry doesn’t want you to realize this…ever.  100% of all tour pros have two things in common.  One, most have a coach & second, NONE of them play with “off the rack” equipment.  They all are custom fitted.

Players at every level of golf need to be custom fit.  In fact, the higher your handicap, the more you need an equipment change.  Central Florida Customs Golf guarantees a 5 stroke reduction without taking a lesson.  It’s a 6 Round Iron Clad, No Risk philosophy, if you choose to become a client.  If we fit you with new equipment, all we ask is that you use the set for minimum of 6 rounds.  If you have been playing golf for years, 98% of everyone reading this has been playing with equipment not suited to you for all those years.  If you don’t realize a 5 stroke reduction, we’ll gladly refund you investment.

The concept of custom fitting golf clubs is not new to the game of golf. Touring professionals have been using specially tailored clubs from the beginning. Equipment was traditionally made by specialized craftsmen who were able to build balanced and consistent sets of clubs.  What sets Central Florida Customs Golf apart from the other fitting companies is "precision & commitment to excellence”. Many of the larger name brand companies offer a line of custom fit irons, but these irons are still made using their mass production techniques, resulting in sets that are not precisely matched. Often your choices are limited as well. If you need a longer club you will have no choice on swing weight ranges (i.e. long and light or short and heavy).

CFC Golf believes in performance improvement.  We will only deliver equipment that will solve your problems, regardless of the latest industry trends.  We fit Professional Golfers all the way to juniors with a single minded goal; improve the quality and enjoyment of golf by lowering strokes with the best, custom fit, custom built tour quality equipment.

CFC Golf is the most vertically integrated company in the world of golf. The company has complete control of all manufacturing processes.

All administration staff in every department and subsidiary of the company - including management - has had hands-on training and all are involved in quality control and new developments of custom club fitting and building.

I’m honored that you would consider CFC Golf for your equipment needs.  Our goal is to gain a new client, not just “make a sale”.  I’d like to respectively ask for your business for life.

On behalf of all CFC employees, and my family;

Thank you.

Matthew J. Carsello
